Install and Run the Script
- Place the script file in your Adobe Illustrator scripts folder:

MacOS: /Applications/Adobe Illustrator <Version>/Presets/<Language>/Scripts
Windows: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator <Version>\Presets\<Language>\Scripts
ㅤ - Restart Adobe Illustrator to load the script into the File > Scripts menu.
- Open your document and go to File > Scripts > Sticky Note to launch the script.

Working With the Panel
When you run the script, an interactive floating panel will appear.

➊ Using the Text Input Field
Typing Notes
- Click to Activate: Simply click within the main body of the Sticky Note to activate the text input field. A blinking cursor will appear, indicating that you can begin typing.
- Type Your Notes: Start typing your notes, reminders, or any other text you want to store.
- Scrolling: If your text exceeds the visible area of the Sticky Note, a scrollbar will automatically appear, allowing you to scroll through your entire note.

Editing Notes
- Place the cursor within the text input field where you want to make changes.
- Basic Text Editing: Use standard keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl+A (Select All), Ctrl+C (Copy), Ctrl+X (Cut), and Ctrl+V (Paste) for basic text editing.

Resizing Notes
- Drag the Edges/Corners: To resize a Sticky Note, simply click and drag any of its edges or corners.
- Click and Drag the Top Area: To move a Sticky Note, click and hold your mouse button on the title bar or the top area of the panel. While holding the mouse button, drag the Sticky Note to your desired location on the screen.

🅰 Save the Current Note
Saves the content of your input field to a text file.
- Type your text in the input field.
- Click the ⬇︎ Save Icon.
- Sticky Note saves the content of the text input field to a file in your Documents folder (e.g., ai_sticky_note.txt).

🅱 Load a Saved Note
Loads the content of a saved note into the text input field.
- Click the ⬆︎ Load Icon.
- If a saved file exists, its content will replace the current text.
- If no file is found, an alert will notify you.

🅲 Gradually Fade the Sticky Note Outline
Reduces the opacity of the sticky note’s outline color to create a subtle look for the sticky note.
- Click the ◻︎ Fade Outline Icon repeatedly to decrease the opacity.
- Once the outline becomes invisible, clicking again resets it to the default opacity.

🅳 Adjust Overall Sticky Note Transparency
Controls the transparency of the entire sticky note, including the text and background.
- Drag the slider to adjust the opacity.
- The note will become more or less transparent in real-time.
- Use this to blend the sticky note into your Illustrator workspace.

🅴 Change Sticky Note Outline Color
Randomizes the sticky note’s otline color to add variety.
- Click the◼︎Randomize Color Icon.
- The background will instantly change to a new random color.

🅵 Create Additional Sticky Notes
Opens a new floating sticky note panel. Each note functions independently, allowing you to create multiple notes for different tasks or projects.
- Click the ✚ Button in the bottom bar.
- A new sticky note panel will appear, starting as an empty note.
- Customize and manage each note individually.
