Artboard Preset Resizer

Script for Adobe Illustrator

✦ Available exclusively on Patreon for Pro supporters.

Description

Artboard Preset Resizer is a powerful Adobe Illustrator script designed to streamline the process of resizing artboards. It allows you to quickly apply standard paper sizes, digital screen dimensions, or define your own custom dimensions.

The script features an extensive library of presets, including:

  • Print Standards: ISO A, B, C, SRA, and US (Letter, Legal, etc.).
  • Digital Screens: Modern devices (iPhone 13-17, Galaxy S24/S25, iPad Pro, MacBook Pro), Video (HD, 4K, 8K), and Icons.
  • Social Media: Optimized sizes for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and more.
  • Specialty: Photo prints (4R, 5R, etc.) and Business Cards (Global standards).

Beyond simple resizing, this script offers advanced control: you can choose to scale your artwork proportionally with the artboard, select a specific reference point for the resize operation (e.g., resize from the center or a corner), and target specific artboards within your document. A real-time preview feature draws a dashed outline on your canvas, ensuring you know exactly how the new size compares to the current one before you commit.
