Installation

1. Download the To-Do List.jsx script file.

2. Place the script in your Adobe Photoshop Scripts folder:

⮑ Windows: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop <Version>\Presets\Scripts\

3. Restart Adobe Photoshop if it's already running.

4. Access the script via File > Scripts > To-Do List.

Using the Script

➊ Adding Your Tasks

  1. Locate the Input Field: At the top of the panel, you'll see "Add New Task" section.
  2. Enter Task Text: Click in the text field and type your task (e.g., "Design logo concepts").
  3. Add the Task: Click the ➕ button, or press Enter key.
  4. Result: Your task appears in the main list with a ❌ icon (incomplete).

🅰 Completing Tasks

Method 1: Double-click:

  • Double-click any task in the list to toggle its completion status.
  • Completed tasks show a ✅ icon.
  • Incomplete tasks show a ❌ icon.

Method 2: Using the Complete Button:

  • Click to select a task.
  • Click the "Complete" button.
  • The task status toggles between complete/incomplete.

🅱 Editing Tasks

  1. Select the task you want to delete.
  2. Click the "Delete" button.
  3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog box.
  4. The task is permanently removed.

🅲 Reordering Tasks

Move Up:

  1. Select a task.
  2. Click the ⬆️ button to move it up in the list.

Move Down:

  • Select a task.
  • Click the ⬇️ button to move it down in the list.


➌ Using the Search Function

  1. Access Search: Look for "Search Task" section at the bottom.
  2. Enter Search Terms: Type any word or phrase to filter tasks.
  3. Real-time Results: The list updates automatically as you type.
  4. Clear Search: Click the × button to clear the search and show all tasks.

Search Tips:

  • Search is case-insensitive.
  • Partial words work (typing "des" will find "design").
  • Search applies to task text only.

The progress section shows:

  • Task Count (e.g., "3/10 Tasks Completed").
  • Visual Progress Bar: Green section = completed tasks; Gray section = incomplete tasks.

    Licensor is not obligated to provide updates, support, or maintenance for the Software. However, updates may be provided at the sole discretion of the Licensor.

    9. Governing Law

    This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

    10. Entire Agreement

    This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Licensor concerning the Software and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings regarding such subject matter.
